Volunteer With Us

Help Someone Take Their First Step Out of Homelessness

At the Homeless ID Project, volunteers truly change lives.
By assisting individuals through the process of obtaining an ID or birth certificate, you help open the door to employment, housing, healthcare, and stability.

Every hour you give helps someone move one step closer to exiting homelessness with dignity.

What You’ll Do

Volunteers work directly with clients at the Keys to Change Campus in downtown Phoenix and may assist with:

✅ Greeting clients & directing them to services
✅ Helping clients navigate the Tele-MVD system
✅ Scanning & uploading documents
✅ Retrieving stored documents for clients
✅ Ensuring client document security
✅ Shredding confidential documents as needed

You’ll be an essential guide, providing structure, support, and encouragement while clients complete this critical first step toward stability.
